Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Laura received her Bachelor's degree in Photocommunications from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. She has exhibited some of her work in exhibitions in Texas and Thailand. In addition, she has permanent displayed work around the country of Thailand and her documentary project of Rice Cultivation has been published in academic journals.

Besides photography, she enjoys working in different areas ranging from marketing to data analysis and operations. She currently lives in Texas.
